About Coco Choco Bakery

Located at 1 Harding Ave, White Plains, NY 10606, Coco Choco Bakery operates as an italian deli serving White Plains in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 AM–8 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Coco Choco Bakery at (914) 607-3494; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is cocochocobakery.shop, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 710 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Customer service is horrible here. I have come here for years to get flan and last Sunday was no different. Waited patiently in the line and was attended on the register to the right and as I am checking out, the screen offers to scan my phone to check out via Apple Pay. I didn’t think twice about it, as I had also left my wallet at home. I got charged but when the lady attending me asked if I paid with Apple Pay and I said yes, she freaked out on me. She loudly stated I should NOT have done that and to not EVER do it again. I felt like I was being scolded like a child. She asked why I did that if they have a sign that says they don’t accept Apple Pay. I looked around and I eventually saw the sign she mentioned, a written sign in from of the first register and no where in front of my view and no indication in the screen I paid on. I showed her my phone and told her I was charged so we should be okay and she made a bid deal about how she had to talk to her manager and. She went to the back for about 5 minutes and comes back and proceeds to enter enter codes in the register all angrily and frustrated and told me they were refunding me and again told me I shouldn’t have done that. It is genuinely heartbreaking to write this because I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for years, and I have always appreciated the quality of their products. Unfortunately, the level of customer service and disrespect I experienced today was completely unacceptable. While simply assisting another customer who was confused about the payment process on the register, I was met with hostility, spoken to disrespectfully, and ultimately treated as though I was an inconvenience rather than a longtime patron. The interaction quickly escalated into an unprofessional exchange involving two employees. One employee, who has worked there for years and whose behavior I have heard others complain about in the past despite my continued referrals to this business, repeatedly displayed an unnecessary and confrontational attitude. When I calmly pointed out that her demeanor was inappropriate, she openly responded, β€œYes, I know I have an attitude,” as if it were something to be proud of rather than something to correct. Another employee came from the back and, instead of attempting to de-escalate the situation, continuously spoke over me, refused to tell me when the owner would be ava

recently visited Coco Choco Bakery hoping to see improvement in customer service since my last visit nearly a year ago. Unfortunately, the service was still disappointing and, in my experience, even less welcoming than before. The staff were not friendly, which significantly affected the overall experience. I specifically went for Peruvian-style Pan FrancΓ©s and tamales. The bread was very good , fresh, with great texture and flavor. No complaints about the quality of the Pan FrancΓ©s. The tamales were also delicious; however, I was informed they are not made in-house but sourced from another vendor, so I cannot fully credit the bakery for that item. The products show strong potential, but customer service plays a major role in any establishment’s success. If the service improves, this bakery could become a great place to visit. At this time, however, I cannot recommend it based on the overall experience.
